Museums and society: Annual action “Night of Museums”

"Night of Museums" - an annual event dedicated to the International Day of Museums. In 2016 "Night of Museums" will be held in the night from 21 to 22 May.

"Night of Museums" - an international event that takes place annually in 42 European countries. Nearly 2,000 museums do not sleep once a year, opening its doors to all who are interested to see the museum in an unusual time of day.

St. Petersburg museums, large and small, traditionally open their doors to visitors in the evening and at night, as well as prepare a special program: one day exhibition, concerts, performances, author tours, workshops, historical reconstruction.
