Memory of Russia: The exhibition “Guarding the Fatherland” in the Moscow region

May 4, 2016 on the eve of the Victory Day in the Cultural Center "House of Ozerov" (the Moscow region) is opened the exhibition "Guarding the Fatherland."

The exhibition is organized within the project "Master and students" of the Museum and Exhibition Hall of the People's Artist of Russia M. G. Abakumov and presents the work of a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, the M. B. Grekov Studio of military artists, graduate of MGAHI Surikov Andrey Drozdov.

The artist works in the tradition of the realistic school of painting. His works involve charity theme, all-conquering goodness, greatness of the military feat.

The exhibition "Guarding the Fatherland" is dedicated to the people who stood firmly in defense of their homeland. The exhibition presents paintings devoted to champions of Orthodoxy, a great saint commanders and ordinary people, our contemporaries. This system is complemented with the picturesque sketches of our homeland with its endless fields, open spaces, the breadth of Russian province. These fleeting sketches, studies are experiences and empathy from the seen beauty Russia.

The exhibition will run until June 1.
