Museums: The festival “Intermuseum 2016” to be held in “Manege”

Festival "Intermuseum" is one of the highlights of the museum's Russian calendar. For four days, from 13 to 16 May 2016, a unique cultural space of the Festival will bring together more than 300 museums in Russia and abroad in Moscow, presenting the public a sort of "museum without borders". The main aim of the Festival 2016 - to draw attention to the museum as an important tool in the area of ​​intercultural dialogue, to its social mission.

Guests of the Central Exhibition Hall will be able to get acquainted with the best projects of domestic and foreign houses of historical heritage around the world. On many sites, scenes and lecture halls will be held workshops, performances of the symphony orchestra, performances, workshops, screenings of archive films and many other events, united to show the social significance and the social need for the museum sector, aimed at the enrichment and development of the inner world of the citizen of the modern state.
