Memory of Russia: The Military-Historical Festival “On the outer reaches of Leningrad” in the Leningrad region
June 26, 2016 in the village of Yalgelevo (the Leningrad region, rural settlement Ropshinskoe) with informational support of the Russian Military-Historical Society to conduct military-historical festival "On the outer reaches of Leningrad", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Leningrad.
The program of the event - reconstruction of an episode of fighting in 1941 with the participation of military vehicles and artillery, interactive exposition of the field life of the warring sides and a large exhibition of the finds of research expeditions.
The tragic events of the Great Patriotic War will recreate the battlefield more than 200 re-enactors from different regions of Russia. Battle of the Red Army with superior enemy forces continued in the area for more than three years. June 26, 2016 one of the small episodes of the battles will be shown: the crossing of a water obstacle by Wehrmacht troops.
Viewers will be able to visit the interactive exhibition showing the life of the warring parties on the Leningrad front, the exhibition of military equipment and research expeditions.
