The updated portal of the National and University Library in Zagreb called NSK Digital Collections was presented at the sixth Festival of Croatian digital projects. The new portal has become a single point of access to all collections of digital and digitized materials stored in the NAIRU.

The National Library digitizes its materials from the beginning of the 1990s. The purpose of the large-scale digitization project - the same as that of the National Digital Library: to make sure that as many people could get acquainted with books, historical newspapers and magazines, records, manuscripts, postcards. Dissertations are digitized defended at the University of Zagreb, maps and other sources of storage libraries. There were tens of thousands of terabytes of digital content created, covering all the most interesting and rare. Among them priceless manuscripts such as the "The Vinodol Code", the works of Marko Marulic and Faust Vrančić, a superb collection of Croatian incunabula.

Portal NSK Digital Collections is constantly being improved to provide a wide range of users an access to all the cultural and historical heritage of Croatia.
