Memory of the World: The Hanseatic Days are first held in Tver

From 17 to 18 June 2016 for the first time are held the VI Tver Russian Hanseatic Days. Since 2011, this forum is held annually in different cities of the country, members of the Union of Russian Hanseatic cities.

Tver is in the Union since 2001. It brings together 183 of the city of 16 states, including 13 Russian, which were still in the Middle Ages shopping centers. Russian Hanseatic Days since 2011 are held annually in one of the cities of Union and include concerts, exhibitions, trade fairs, "round tables", which discuss current issues of political, economic and cultural cooperation.

The participants of the Hanseatic Days 2016 were guests of Veliky Novgorod, Kingisepp, Pskov, Smolensk, Torzhok and other cities belonging to the Hanseatic League.

The festival features extensive concert program, including number of original creative teams of the Hanseatic cities, and organized trade fairs, where their products present artisans and craftsmen from different regions of the country.
