History of Russia: “Alexander Nevsky. Savior of the Russian land” in Izborsk

June 12, 2016 at the battle of the ensemble during the Izborsk Fortress (the Pskov region) was opened the exhibition "Alexander Nevsky. Savior of the Russian land".

The exhibition features 26 booths dedicated to the main events of the life of Alexander Nevsky, who played a huge role in Russian history, the protection of the Pskov and Izborsk land.

The exhibition materials tell about the canonization of Alexander Nevsky Russian Church, the Vladimir Christmas monastery - the place of his original burial, and one of the main centers of his veneration of the transfer of the relics of St. Prince Vladimir of St. Petersburg, about perpetuating his memory in Russian cities.
