The Year of Russian Cinema-2016: The exhibition “Capital of cartoons” to the 80th anniversary of the film studio “Soyuzmulfilm” in Moscow

In the Year of Russian cinema in the framework of the jubilee events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the film studio "Soyuzmultfilm" and the 120th anniversary of the Moscow Museum is opened the exhibition "Capital of cartoons". The multimedia exhibition takes place from 10 to 30 June 2016.

Screen exhibition presents visitors a 80-year old history of the Moscow film studio through a variety of unique styles and animation techniques. Films, made over the years in the studio, gallery and exhibition space acquire the status of original works of art.

The whole history of the studio is divided into 6 chronological and aesthetic units, each of which corresponds to a separate area. Signed masterpieces, unknown to a wider audience, are selected in such a way as to give the viewer an idea of the different stages and styles of animation. Visitors are offered the opportunity to actually go through the historical path of development of the domestic animation.

Simultaneously themed play areas will be created on-screen exposure. As part of a special program shows viewers will see the forgotten legends and animated documentaries on major artists and directors of his time, turned the new animation techniques in a single art form.
