Information technology and society: The III Forum of regions of Belarus and Russia proposed creating Internet-portal and e-library of the Union State

Participants of the III Forum of Belarus and Russian regions (June 7-8, 2016, Minsk) adopted a final document, which provides for expansion of the practice of joint youth activities.

The resolution contains proposals to step up efforts to develop inter-university cooperation for the strengthening of regional cooperation in education, science and innovation.

Another trend, the importance of which is emphasized in the final document - is the development, support and implementation of education, including interactive, programs and projects on civil-patriotic theme.

In addition, the outcome document refers to the establishment of interstate online portal for the exchange of scientific and technical information. Another proposal - the creation of an electronic library of the Union State and facilitate the exchange of mandatory copies of printed materials for the National Library of Belarus and Russia.
