Exhibitions: The exhibition, dedicated to the music of the Great Patriotic War time, to be held in Sevastopol
July 30 – on the eve of the Day of Navy fleet of Russia - supported by the Russian military-historical society in the cinema pavilion of the State Museum of heroic defense and liberation of Sevastopol will be open the exhibition "70 Victory tunes", prepared by the M. I. Glinka All-Russian Museum Association of Musical Culture.
This exhibition project - a gift to the Museum Association to Sevastopol residents for the Day of the Russian Navy, one of the most important holidays for the residents of the Black Sea Fleet of the citadel. The exhibition will be a landmark event in the cultural life of the city-hero: the project will make a significant contribution to the development of the Sevastopol Museum of heroic defense and liberation of Sevastopol as the All-Russian Center of patriotic education and cultural tourism.
The exhibition "70 Victory tunes" tells about the importance of music during the Great Patriotic War: the songs performed at the front, compositions, written in the rear.
Hundreds of pieces of music have been created over the years of the Great Patriotic War; 70 of the most significant were the basis of exposition.
Project developers propose using artifacts and archival video and scale, together with well-known artists of the war years to make a musical journey from the pre-war period to the front, in the concert hall of besieged Leningrad, the stage of the theater front-line city.
The exhibition will run until August 30.
