Museums: The Railway Museum to be open to the 300th anniversary of the city

At the station Omsk-Passenger on August 6 the start of celebrations to mark the 300th anniversary of Omsk, the 120th anniversary of the West-Siberian Railroad and Railroad Day, will mark a locomotive whistle blows and the ancient bell, which was used in the station 120 years ago.

The first half of the day for the residents and visitors to the city of Omsk on the platform of the railway station will be an exhibition of antique and modern railway technology. The exhibition will feature modern freight and passenger locomotives, railway cars and fire regenerative trains and railway platforms of automotive technology. Especially for the anniversary from the Novosibirsk Museum of railway equipment in the station Sower retro cars will be delivered to Omsk.
