International events: Photo exhibition under the open sky “Kazakhstan – country of great steppe” in Moscow

The magazine "National Geographic Russia" together with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Moscow presents an open-air photo exhibition "Kazakhstan - country of great steppe".

Open air photo exhibition "Kazakhstan - country of the great steppe" is held from July 21 to August 24, 2016 on Nikolskaya Street in Moscow, near the metro station "Revolution Square."

Kazakhstan is the country, comparable in size to the whole of Western Europe. Once on its territory passed routes of the Silk Road, and today there is "Baikonur" - the first and largest cosmodrome in the world - and as many as three UNESCO World Heritage Site, including the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yassavi beginning of the XV century. Most of the country is boundless steppe - and on its solid foundation rests the past, present and future of a great country.

The exposition includes 60 colorful photographs and 4 information booth dedicated to nature and the main cities of Kazakhstan: Astana and Almaty. Visitors can also find out information about the Expo-2017 - a large-scale specialized international exhibition which theme is - "Energy of the Future".
