Information technology and museums: Mobile application “Audio guide through the Hermitage” was enriched with two tours

In July, the official mobile app of the State Hermitage Museum "Audio Guide through the Hermitage" was enriched with two new tours: "The Art of the Netherlands" and "Small Hermitage", prepared within the framework of the joint work of the State Hermitage and the Company MOL (Museum On Line).

"Small Hermitage" - this is the twelfth trip in the "Audio Guide through the Hermitage" application. It introduces the history of the construction of the building, tells about art collections of Catherine II and the establishment of the museum, as well as the collections of the Hermitage of the Empress. Separate sections are devoted to the tour device of Hanging Garden, the Pavilion Hall and the famous Peacock Clock.

"Dutch Art of the XV-XVI" - the fifth in a series of thematic tours, devoted to the Hermitage collection of European countries: England, France, Italy, the Netherlands. During the tour you can see the masterpieces of Dutch painting, including works by Robert Campin, Rogier van der Weyden, Hugo van der Goes, Lucas van Leyden, Dirk Jacobs, Jan Provost, Pieter Brueghel the Younger and Jan Mandeyn.

Now the application contains 13 excursions for iPhone and iPad, with which you can make yourself a fascinating walk through the halls of the museum and get acquainted with the rich collection of works of art and luxurious palace interiors.
