Society and culture: The exhibition “100 Wonders of the World” in Yaroslavl

In Yaroslavl, in the N. A. Nuzhin Municipal Exhibition Hall was opened the exhibition "100 Wonders of the World" - an annual project "Art Center" of Saint-Petersburg. The first collection was created in 2011 together with the magazine «National Geographic. Russia" and was successfully shown in Yaroslavl.

A year later, the new collection has been collected, which included the works of photographers, collaborating with major brands like «National Geographic», «GEO», «Scientific American», «OutdoorLife» and others. Of the 35 thousands of photos that are included in the golden collection of the magazine «National Geographic. USA», was selected one hundred of the best ones.

Photo exhibition brought together a variety of images from all corners of the globe. To get these shots photographers often risking their own lives to climb the highest peaks and plunged into the waters of the seas and oceans for months and sometimes for years studied the habits of wild animals and birds, amphibians and insects.

The exhibition will run until August 28.
