Museums: The exhibition “Fragments of the vanished Empire” was opened in Belgorod

Replacement exhibition "Fragments of the vanished Empire" was placed in the second hall of the permanent exhibition of the Belgorod Art Museum. The exhibition is dedicated to the anniversary of the Soviet Union.

The permanent exhibition "Domestic Art of the XX-XXI centuries" in an art museum was opened in autumn 2015. One of its six parts - replacement schedule. Now the paintings, dedicated to the Year of Literature, were changed by the selection, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the collapse of the USSR. Because of the storage operation the works cannot by continuously exposed more than a year.

"Fragments of the vanished Empire" - 36 paintings and two sculptures. This is a look at the realities of Soviet artist and attitude of 60-80s of the last century.

The exposition - is multi-story of shock work and how Soviet citizens were resting after work; the realities of everyday - what will have to face the one who spends the summer in the city. Immediately - sport as a mandatory element of the harmonious development of everyone who was born in the USSR. Individual pages in the schedule of the time - Soviet achievements in space exploration and development of the industry. The exhibition includes works by artists working in different cities of the USSR.
