Information technology and Mass Media: Russia has become one the key founders of the media forum “One belt, one way”

Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Alexei Volin gave a welcoming speech to the participants of the media forum "One belt, one way" during his working visit to China. Russia has become one of the key founders of the online media community among the countries of the Great Silk Road.

In his speech, Alexei Volin said that Russian media companies are willing to establish a wide cooperation in such areas as co-production and distribution of movies, TV series and TV programs; production of documentaries and news; cooperation in the field of new media and the use of modern technological platforms for the dissemination of television production.

At the Media Forum, which purpose - to strengthen cooperation in the field of media between the countries of the areola of the ancient Silk Road, which is currently part of the territory of Russia, was attended by representatives of 78 media from 55 countries.

Also during his visit to the Chinese capital Alexei Volin visited the newspaper China Daily, the online audience that is more than 40 million people. Participants of the meeting discussed the preparations for the First Russian-Chinese Forum of New Media, which will be held from 28 to 30 October 2016 in Guangzhou. The main topics of the upcoming forum will be the exchange of information, modern ways of production of multimedia content and its distribution, national approaches to Internet regulation and Internet security issues.
