
Russian culture abroad: "Days of Russia in Armenia"
Major Armenian cities for almost a month will become the center of attraction for all fans of Russian culture: "Days of Russia in Armenia" will be held here from August 20 to September 18, 2016.
"Days of Russia" open on August 20 in the second city of Armenia - Gyumri - the memorial complex "Hill of Honor", where buried Russian soldiers who died in the Russian-Turkish and Russian-Persian wars of the XIX century. At the site of the burial of heroes will be served the solemn service, wreaths will be laid. Fallen soldiers will be remembered by choir of Russian Orthodox Church of St. Petersburg.
On the same day in Gyumri will be open a photo exhibition dedicated to the Russian church architecture.
The next day, in the city of Stepanavan will be held photo exhibition "Russian Orthodox Church during the Great Patriotic War", which will then move to the regional center of Yeghegnadzor.
The State Museum of History of Armenia in Yerevan on September 3 will open an exhibition of photographs from the collection of the Russian Ethnographic Museum in St. Petersburg on "The Family in the life of the peoples of Eurasia. XX century".
In the foyer of the Aram Khachaturian Yerevan Hall will be open an exhibition of children's drawings "The Spirit of Russia".
A separate part of the Russian "cultural tour" program will be the Days of Russian cinema in Armenia, which will be held on 14-18 September. In cinemas of Yerevan, Gyumri, Abovyan will be showing the best gaming work of cinematographers of Russia in recent years.
In addition, part of the film events will be complemented with the VGIK Cinema Club, which opens on September 4 at the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema. Here will be provided learned skill of teachers of the famous Russian university.
