History of Russia: Interactive exhibition “My Story. The Rurik dynasty” in Crimea

Interactive exhibition "My Story. The Rurik dynasty" will be open on September 9, 2016 in Crimea and will be the first exposition, which will be located in the new exhibition hall of the State Museum of heroic defense and liberation of Sevastopol.

The inhabitants of the peninsula, not only will have the opportunity to visit one of the most successful multimedia expositions, but also to assess the reconstruction of the building of the former cinema "Ukraine", which was handed over to the museum. 

The exhibition, telling about the Rurik dynasty, will house 17 rooms of the renovated theater. Total visitors will see more than one hundred interactive exhibits, several copyright installations, including a holographic projection of the "Arkaim" and the unique dome theater.

Organizers note that the exhibition will be of particular interest to residents of the Crimea, and guests of the republic, because the peninsula and situated on its territory Hersonissos are most relevant to Rurik dynasty - it is here that the most important place in the history of Russia event - the baptism of St. Vladimir.

It is worth noting that the first part of the cycle of multimedia exhibition "Russia - My Story", dedicated to the Romanov dynasty, is already represented on a permanent basis at the Livadia Palace in August, 2014. Thus, this year more than a thousand years of Russian history will be available to visitors and residents of the Republic of Crimea.

The exhibition "My Story. The Rurik dynasty" will be open until 13 November.
