Society and Culture: Scientific Readings, dedicated to the 192nd anniversary of the arrival of Pushkin in Mikhailovskoye exile, in the Pskov region

From 18 to 21 August 2016 the Pushkin Reserve (the Pskov region) holds scientific readings dedicated to the 192nd anniversary of the poet's visit to Mikhailovskoye exile.

This year is marked by a number of anniversaries: 250 years since the birth of Nikolai Karamzin, the 250th anniversary of the birth of V. L. Pushkin, 200 years since the death of G. R. Derzhavin.

2016 was declared the Year of the Russian cinema. Subjects of Pushkin's works have always been interested both domestic and foreign cinema.

The organizers of the readings propose to discuss the following topics:

- Pushkin and World Literature;

- Book patristic heritage as an inexhaustible source of development of the modern Russian language;

- Preaching role of the poet - the herald of the great human truths;

- The Russian language from A. S. Pushkin to the present day;

- Modern conditions of development of the Russian language;

- Manor motives in the works of poets and writers of XVIII-XIX centuries;

- Literature and cinema.
