Experts of archeology at the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences reported on the incredible discovery in the territory of Xinjiang. Chinese archaeologists have discovered the ruins of the altar, which age is about 3000 years old.

The ruins of buildings are boulders placed on a plateau in a certain order. Scientists hit the size of buildings - the diameter of the outer fence is 114 meters, writes news agency "Zhongguo sinven".

Through the examination conducted by the researchers it was found that the altar was built in the late Bronze Age, about 2500-3000 years ago. Discovered altar was the largest structure of the Bronze Age in China.

According to archaeologists the discovery of the altar confirms the version that previously in the territory of Xinjiang resided a large population of nomads. Dimensions facilities allow scientists to conclude that their number could exceed the mark of 10 thousand people.
