The Year of Russian Cinema-2016: Films, taken with the support of the Russian Geographical Society, are shown in the open-air cinema club in Moscow

Documentary films about science and travel, taken with the support of the Russian Geographical Society, are show in the open-air cinema club in the recreation park "Fili" in Moscow.

At the first meeting, which took place on July 29, viewers saw the film "Fyodor Litke:" Awake, I serve!". The film is dedicated to the Russian statesman, navigator, geographer, the founder of the Russian Geographical Society Fyodor Litke. The film tells about the life of a researcher, as well as about the history and the first decades of the activities of the Society.

Film screenings in cinema club in the recreation park "Fili" are held on Fridays, the entrance is free.
