History of Moscow: The exhibition of photographs of the capital of the end of 1990s in the Museum of Moscow

Photo exhibition "Herbert Rothen. Red Square 1999. Streetlifephoto", devoted to the life of Moscow of the late 1990s, is held at the Museum of Moscow from 2 to 31 August 2016.

Swiss photographer Herbert Rothen presents a photo gallery of Moscow, captured at the time of its entry into a new life at the turn of the century, and even two millennia.

The exposition presents 50 works of Herbert Rothen as well as pictures of famous Moscow photo artists Leo Melikhov and Vladimir Filonov from the collection of the Museum of Moscow, which supplement it with daily life pictures of the central districts of the capital, so that the street photographs show how the same city is revealed to different people.
