Information technology and culture: The process of restoration of museum exhibits can be seen in the mobile app

The Ministry of Culture of Russia has ordered the development program for smartphones, in which can be seen museum exhibits before, during and after restoration.

The application can occur in six months or so later. The first version is expected to include a story about 100 exhibits from 30 Russian museums.

According to the Ministry of Culture, visitors will be able to put the phone with the camera turning it on exhibit in the museum and get a picture of what it looked like before restoration.

The application may include, and X-rays, and additional information about the exhibits. Relevant data will provide Russian art with scientific-restoration center of academician I. E. Grabar.
