The World Ocean Museum (Kaliningrad) invites you to participate in the International scientific-practical conference "Fortifications. Preservation, study, operation" dedicated to the 170th anniversary of St. Michael's battery, which takes place on 25-28 September 2016 in the city of Sevastopol.

Conference "Fortifications. Preservation, study, operation" will assess fortification heritage as an essential element of maritime power image, often summarized as anecdotal evidence on the history of the construction and operation of the fortifications and waterworks, to discuss issues related to the study, preservation and presentation of heritage in museums in Russia.
