Museums of Russia: Paintings of Russian artists of XIX - early XX century from the State Tretyakov Gallery are shown in the Maritime Art Gallery in Vladivostok

2016 is anniversary for the Primorye State Picture Gallery and the State Tretyakov Gallery. Jubilees have prepared to their fans and each other wonderful gifts - exhibition projects. For the first time in Moscow in the project "Golden Map of Russia" will be shown paintings from the Maritime Gallery, Vladivostok and first exhibited large-scale exhibition of Russian painting of the second half of XIX - early XX centuries "Urban Romance" from the State Tretyakov Gallery.

The exhibition "Urban Romance" from the collection of the State Tretyakov Gallery, built on the works of Russian artists of the XIX - early XX century, is designed to demonstrate the close relationship of music and painting. Some authors, whose works are on display, also composed music and poetry, played music or freely on the violin, guitar and piano.

Works by V. A. Tropinin, K. E. Makovsky, V. I. Surikov, N. I. Levitan, V. M. Vasnetsov, I. E. Repin, K. A. Korovin and others.
