Exhibitions: Masterpieces of Russian art of XVIII - early XX centuries are presented at the exhibition "Russian Collection" at the Volgograd Museum of Fine Arts

The exhibition "Russian collection. Works from the collections of the I. I. Mashkov Volgograd Museum of Fine Arts" was opened on September 2, 2016.

The exhibition presents masterpieces of Russian art of XVIII - early XX centuries from the museum. Its centerpiece is the paintings, and it is complemented by sculptures, works of decorative art. Among them - true masterpieces, works by Valentin Serov, I. Shishkin, M. Larionov.

The exhibition gives the opportunity to follow the ways of development of Russian art in all the richness of its diversity of genres - from the XVIII to the 30s of XX century.
