Internet and Society: The 9th International Conference of administrators and national domains registrars of top-level TLDCON 2016 in Tbilisi

7-8 September 2016 the Coordination Center for Internet and Technical Center of the Internet national domain spend 9th International Conference of administrators and registrars of national top-level domains of the CIS countries, Central and Eastern Europe (TLDCON 2016). This year the conference is held in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

International conference of administrators and registrars of national top-level domains of the CIS countries, Central and Eastern Europe is held since 2008. Participation in the conference is traditionally taken by representatives of national registries and registrars from around the world.

The website TLDCON 2016 publishes the preliminary program of the conference. This year, the conference participants will discuss the following questions:

· How will the international cooperation in the development of the Internet in the region be developed?

· Pros and cons of IDN domains: What do professionals think about it?

· Internet Security: how to provide it, without sacrificing freedom?

· The secondary market domains in Russia and in the world - whether the proposal is ahead of the demand?

· What do you need to do in order to earn IDN-mail?

· When the opening of the "second window» new gTLD will happen?

The conference was attended by speakers from the CIS countries, Europe, Asia and America, with presentations by representatives from ICANN, CENTR, APTLD, RIPE NCC.
