Regions of Russia: Exhibition "Polotsk in the works of contemporary artists" in Veliky Novgorod

On September 3, 2016 in the exhibition hall of the building of official place of the Novgorod Museum Reserve is running the exhibition "Polotsk in the works of contemporary artists".

The exhibition is part of a joint exhibition project "Single cultural space", linking the museum union of Russia and Belarus.

The idea of ​​the picturesque open-air with the aim to capture and save an amazing time and the city belongs to Novgorod artists. The result was the open-air exhibition, which features more than 30 artists from ten landscapes of the capital of Minsk, provincial Mogilev, ancient Polotsk and Veliky Novgorod.

Polotsk has a rich history, strong museum tradition and unique cultural landscape. Its monuments, unique landscapes, numerous museum exhibitions and special atmosphere of the city attracted the romantics, tourists and artists. Polotsk of contemporary inspires artists to create and do not leave them indifferent to this special place.

Some of the works, presented at the exhibition, were donated by the authors of the Polotsk Art Gallery and will remain in the holdings of the National Polotsk Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve.

The exhibition will run until October 20.
