Exhibitions: The exposition, dedicated to biographies of M. Bulgakov and V. Mayakovski, to be open in Moscow

The exhibition "Bulgakov vs Mayakovsky" will be open on September 6, 2016 in the gallery "On Shabolovka", which is a member of the association "The exhibition halls of Moscow". Co-organizers of the exhibition were the State Museums of Bulgakov and Mayakovski.

Relationship of Bulgakov and Mayakovski were complex: exchanging barbs in his works and competing, they closely followed the work of each other. Their world view, lifestyle and views on literature were so different that it is difficult to imagine by their contemporaries. In spite of this, they often met for a pool table. A new exhibition, organized by the rules of billiard games, will travel on the biographies of the two main Russian writers of the XX century.

The exhibition will feature more than 200 exhibits, some of which are exhibited for the first time.

The educational program for children and adults will be organized within the framework of the project: a series of lectures and workshops.

The exhibition will be part of the program of the jubilee year of Mikhail Bulgakov and will be supported by the Foundation for Cultural Development and Education "Moscow time".
