Information technology and society: The Koran and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad is now available as a mobile application

The Muslim holy book "Quran" and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, translated into Russian, are first became available in the form of applications for mobile devices. The users are also invited to the original Arabic text of the Quran. Both versions of the text - and Russian, and Arabic - fully voiced.

The new program allows you to search for sacred texts and commentaries to them, users can find fragments, which have their interesting words and expressions, including all kinds of word forms with their use. With the ability to bookmark, you can return to the texts, for example, the most popular suras, ayats, hadiths or comments. To their shares the users can contribute search queries.

The program developers have implemented Qibla compass. Thanks to him, the faithful anywhere in the world can determine the right direction for the performance of prayer.

Electronic version of the Koran was produced in 2010 with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation within the project "The Holy Quran and the Hadith of the Prophet".
