Regions of Russia: Festival "Street of the Far East" is held in the framework of the East Economic Forum

2-3 September 2016 in Vladivostok is held the second East Economic Forum. The event on the waterfront of the island in the Russian Far Eastern Federal University campus hosts the Festival "Street of the Far East", organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Far East Development Fund.

From 1 to 4 September 2016, participants of EEF can get acquainted with bright and unique features of each of the nine subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District - the Amur, the Magadan and the Sakhalin regions and the Jewish Autonomous Oblast, Kamchatka, Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Chukotka Autonomous District. The guest of the festival will be the Republic of Crimea. September 4, the festival will be open to all comers.  

For the festival the regions developed pavilions of unique concept. At these sites, visitors can learn about the cultural and historical traditions, natural resources, tourism and commercial potential of each region.

A separate topic of the festival will be the tourism potential of the Far East, its promotion to the highest level.

Within the cultural program will be held regional pageant delegations and a gala concert, which will feature creative performances - "business card" of each region, and will hold daily evening screenings of the best Russian films, dedicated to the Year of Russian cinema.
