International events: Conference "World Heritage of the CIS countries: Challenges, Problems and Solutions" in Moscow

International Congress "World Heritage of the CIS countries: Challenges, Problems and Solutions" is held in Moscow from 25 to 27 October 2016.

Within the framework of the International Congress of Russian experts and guests from CIS countries - Belarus, Armenia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan - will share their experience with the UNESCO sites, as well as tell about the problems faced by both employees of monuments protection authorities and managers of World Heritage sites.

The participants will discuss the current trends in the replenishment of the World Heritage List, the nomination process, especially, cross-border nomination, management of World Heritage sites with a religious component, various types of reporting for UNESCO and other issues.

October 27 at the Patriarchal Palace of the Moscow Kremlin will be held the final meeting of the International Congress "World Heritage of the CIS countries: Challenges, Problems and Solutions". The main topics will be the final meeting of the conservation of monuments of UNESCO and international cooperation.
