The Year of Russian Cinema-2016: The exhibition "Time of Cinema" in Moscow

October, 21, 2016 to January 29, 2017 in the gallery "ROSIZO" on VDNH (pavilion №66 "Culture") is held an exhibition of "Time of Cinema". This is a multidisciplinary project which is carried out in the framework of the Year of Russian cinema, it brings together films of the "golden fund" of Soviet and Russian cinema with works by contemporary Russian artists.

The exposition includes five sections, each of which serves as a kind of emotional portrait of an era, "Time of enthusiasm", "Time of propaganda", "Fragility Time/hopes and loss", "Time without time" and "Time of chaos and searching". Each section on special multimedia screens shows excerpts from the most famous domestic films, as well as their adaptation to modern formats and promo video trailer. Here are exhibited works by artists that convey the essence of time shaped the language of contemporary art.
