Memory of the World: The memorable sign to Arctic convoys set in Arkhangelsk

The memorial sign in honor of the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the first allied convoy codenamed "Dervish" in memory of military cooperation aviators of the USSR, Great Britain and the United States during the Great Patriotic War, established in Arkhangelsk on the island Kego.

The memorial sign consists of two parts. The first - a stone slab with the description of the anniversary events, the second - concrete composition of unmarked military-air forces of the Allies: the Soviet Union, Britain and the United States.

The task of initiators of the memorial sign - to attract the attention of today's youth to the exploit of residents of Kego.
