International events: Exhibition "Greece - Russia. Communication via Century" opens in Moscow region

October 20, 2016 at the Cultural Center "Ozerov House" (the Moscow region), in the framework of the cross year of Greece and Russia is opened the exhibition "Greece - Russia. Communication through the ages", prepared by the Russian-Greek Artists Union (Moscow).

"Greece - Russia. Communication through the ages" - the exhibition project, which aims to introduce the culture of the inhabitants of suburbs of friendly countries through the work of contemporary artists. Project author is the president of the Greek-Russian Artists Union Pavlos Arzumanidis. Within the project is planned to hold exhibitions, round tables and creative meetings. To participate in the exhibition are invited artists who reflect eternal enduring motifs of national spiritual culture in their works.

The exposition includes paintings, drawings, sculptures and decorative arts. Visitors will see Greece as it captured by the artists. Antique themes, the ruins of ancient temples, affectionate sea blue, olive groves and sunny island - the Greek motifs harmoniously intertwined with the native Russian subjects, silhouettes of orthodox churches and monasteries, landscapes, treasured streets of ancient cities of Russia.

The exhibition runs until November 20.
