Libraries and society: International conference "Formation of innovative potential of young people and the library" in Moscow

October 12-13, 2016 at the Russian State Library for the Youth ((BBWG) is held the International scientific-methodical conference "Formation of innovative potential of youth and the library". The conference is timed to the 50th anniversary of the creation of a national network BBWG and youth libraries and is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Russia.

During the event, representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, heads of federal libraries, experts in the field of sociology, librarianship, education, environment and well-known public figures discuss the place of the library in the realization of the state youth policy, the role of Russian public libraries, national action of the Year of ecology in 2017, as well as the preparations for the International festival of youth and students.
