Information technology and Russian regions: Electronic collection "Dedicated to Murmansk..." to the 100th anniversary of the city is presented

The Murmansk Regional Universal Scientific Library continues work on the digitization of books for the digital library "Kola North". To the 100th anniversary of the Hero City the Library has prepared a new electronic collection "Dedicated to Murmansk…".

This collection reflects the pages of history and the present day of the city. It contains materials about the birth of the port city and its historic role in Russia, about the heroism of the defenders of the Arctic during the Great Patriotic War, as well as the economic and cultural development of the postwar years. These are historical research, nonfiction, memoirs, fiction, travel guides, collections of songs, photos, videos.

The collection includes articles published in the newspaper "Evening Murmansk" in the framework of the project "A hundred pages of the history to the 100th anniversary of Murmansk".

The collection also includes a series of programs "Murmansk - my destiny" GTRL "Murman" about honorary citizens of the regional center.
