History of Russia: Exhibition "Children's World. XIX century "in Yekaterinburg

September 30, 2016 in the House-Museum of Volkonsky (Yekaterinburg) was opened an exhibition "Children's World. XIX century".

The exhibition will help to make a trip into the world of the little gentleman of the XIX century. At the exhibition visitors of the museum will learn about the upbringing and education of children in the XIX century by the example of the fate of the Decembrists, and children will be able to peek into the magical "toy world" of a child of the era.

For the first time the Irkutsk public will see an extensive collection of doll dresses of late XIX - early XX centuries.

The interactive part of the exhibition will allow visitors of all ages to play games of the XIX century, will present a rare opportunity to "touch the childhood", to feel like a carefree child of bygone era.

The exhibition will run until the end of 2016.
