Memory Russia: In Moscow City Council is opened the exhibition "Moscow: from defense to Victory. 1941 - 1945"

The Moscow City Duma building hosts the exhibition "Moscow: from defense to Victory. 1941 - 1945".

The event is dedicated to celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Soviet army counter-offensive against the German fascist troops in the Battle of Moscow.

Historical-documentary exhibition project reflects the Muscovites feat for the protection of the capital in the most difficult period of the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition, which presents 50 rare photographic documents of Archival fund of the capital consists of several sections, telling us about the mobilization and the militia, military training, construction of defensive fortifications, the city supply and health care.
