The Russian language abroad: The Week of Russian language is held in Berlin

From 22 to 26 November 2016 in Berlin, at the Russian House of Science and Culture is held the traditional Week of the Russian language. The program includes reports, visiting partner educational institutions, workshops, books presentations, film screenings, and others.

Participants of the week were the teachers, specialists in Russian from Russia and Germany, representatives of Berlin authorities, educational institutions of the two countries. Experts will discuss the status of the Russian language in the Diaspora, particularly in Berlin, especially the teaching of Russian language in the German secondary schools, methods and concepts of bilingual education and teaching Russian as a foreign language, how to motivate pupils at literature lessons and other practical issues.

Participants will be able to get an idea of ​​the key processes and trends in the Russian educational system and modern Russian culture, to learn about the requirements of the school final examinations and competitions in the Russian language in Russia. There will be presentations of new textbooks and teaching materials in Russian language Russian and German publishers.

One day, the participants of Russian Language Week will be able to visit the German educational institutions (from kindergarten to university), where Russian language is taught, will be held workshops.
