Memory Russia: Exhibition "Last days of sacred memory" will be opened in the Leningrad region to the 75th anniversary of the Road of Life

On the Road of Life on November 22, 2016 will be celebrated the 75th anniversary of the start of the ice crossing. On the territory of the monument "Broken Ring" will be held the meeting, and Western military recruits will take an oath.

Also in the building of the railway station Lake Ladoga in the Memorial Museum "The Road of life" will be opened the exhibition "Last days of sacred memory".

It will feature documents, photos and unique exhibits from the collections of school museums of the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region: a diving suit legendary of Nina Sokolova; Chocolate of the Great Patriotic War, raised from the bottom of Lake Ladoga; Pictures and videos of the Leningrad region on secondary schools pupils "Road of Life during the Great Patriotic War", sent to the contest, held by the Museum and Memorial "The Road of Life" complex.

A separate stand will showcase innovative supply of historical information technologies using VR and AR technologies. Anyone can become a "participant of the legendary ice route", to see the work of divers, to feel enemy bombing caravans walking on Lake Ladoga.
