Museums of Russia: In Russia will be created a National Guard Museum

November 16, 2016 at the Ministry of Culture of Russia was held a meeting devoted to the creation of the National Guard Museum in Moscow on the basis of existing internal troops of the Central Museum of the capital. The new museum will be accessible to the public and will greatly expand its exhibition areas at the expense of moving to a new building.

The co-founders of the new museum can be the Russian Guard, the Russian Military-Historical Society and the Ministry of Culture of Russia. In addition, the Ministry of Culture of Russia assumes the search of the building as a museum and is ready to provide advice and technical assistance in the creation of a new exhibition.

The task - to make not just the museum of the internal troops but the National Guard Museum, which will tell about all the structures of the body, which included, including special forces and riot police SWAT, units of private security.

The National Guard Museum is planned to be open in 2018.
