Libraries and society: Unique educational center is opened on the basis of the Library of Foreign Literature in Moscow

November 14, 2016 the M. I. Rudomino All-Russia State Library for Foreign Literature and education company Pearson made an agreement and announced the creation of a unique educational space on the basis of "Foreign woman". 

Pearson Space - an educational center at the Library of Foreign Literature, with a range of opportunities for teaching and learning English through the massive resource base of the company. Any visitor of the library will be able to work in a free virtual lab and Pearson programs, to use printed textbooks for the study or teaching of the language, as well as to get acquainted with the novelties of the publishing house Pearson. For teachers of English will also be available free training courses and pass the relevant tests and then receiving certificates.

The center will be equipped with 14 workstations with Internet access and access to all the types of material. It provides both individual places to work and a modern training room with all necessary equipment for open classes, lectures and seminars. Visitors of Pearson Space will also be able to consult with the employees of the center, which will provide information and demonstrate technologies, methodologies and products of the company.

The opening of the center Pearson Space in Foreign Literature Library is scheduled for the beginning of 2017 under the joint investment of the project and upon completion of the relevant works.
