Memorable dates of Russia: Book exhibition "Under the burden of passion" to the 195 anniversary of the birth of Fyodor Dostoyevsky in Veliky Novgorod

From 11 to 19 November 2016 in the rare books sector of the Novgorod State University Scientific Library runs a book exhibition "Under the burden of passions", dedicated to the 195th anniversary of the birth of Fyodor Dostoevsky.

The exposition presents his works and books devoted to the life and work of the writer, published in the late XIX - early XX century. Among the authors – L. Grossman, N. A. Brodsky, G. Chulkov, V. Pereverzev, N. P. Antsiferov and others. In addition, among the exhibited publications - album of watercolors by N. N. Karazin to the works of Fyodor Dostoyevsky; reprint of the Gospel presented to Dostoevsky in 1850, with whom he did not leave until the end of his days; "Chronicle kind of Dostoevsky (1506-1933)", compiled by M. V. Volotsky; volumes of the works of Dostoevsky, frayed by numerous generations of students.
