History and culture: The XXVI Scientific conference "History and Culture of the Rostov land" in the Rostov Kremlin

The State Museum "Rostov Kremlin" on November 9-11, 2016 holds the XXVI scientific conference "History and Culture of the Rostov land".

For the 26th time in early November will be held a scientific conference "History and Culture of the Rostov land". Its holding is traditionally timed to the museum's birthday - November 10 (October 28, Old Style), the day of memory of St. Demetrius of Rostov.

The Conference was established in 1991. Russian scientists - historians, art historians, archaeologists, restorers, architects - gather annually together in the walls of the Rostov Kremlin, to report the results of their research, the discoveries - and thus enter a new page in the history of the ancient land of Rostov. Traditional is the general theme of the conference of the received reports: history and culture of the Rostov land from ancient times to the present day.
