Information technology and museums: A renewed exposition to the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution in the House-Museum of the I Congress of the RSDLP in Minsk is available with a mobile audio guide

Renewed exposition to the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution was opened by the House-Museum of the I Party Congress, which is a branch of the National History Museum of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk.

The museum operates mobile audio guide system in the Belarusian, Russian and English languages. In the new exhibition are deeper disclosed themes of the Congress of history and its members, the gendarmerie investigation, social and political movements of the late XIX - early XX century, the daily life of provincial Minsk, the history and activities of the museum, which is known by the fact that here in the 1920s years lived Belarusian writers Yanka Kupala and Zmitrok Biadula. 

Updated rooms are complemented by new items from almost all the funds of the museum collections. The unique materials from the collections of the National History Museum of Belarus are exhibited by using modern museum equipment, design, lighting. The visitors will meet historical figures of reconstruction of Minsk photographer of the early XX century, a railway worker, policeman. It is restored a memorial part of the house - the interior of one of the rooms in the house of its owner of Františka Rzhetskaya.
