President of Russia Vladimir Putin has offered to make libraries like media centers

To make Russian libraries media centers has been offered by President of Russia Vladimir Putin during his annual press conference, when asking Alexei Hodorycha of "High School Journal". The journalist said that the moral education of the person is impossible without reading, and asked whether the state can help to return the journals in the library.

"We are trying to work on it, to revive the library", - said the President, recognizing that modern media are gradually replacing the books in the "arsenal" of a schoolboy.

"But we need to make sure that these media was necessary content", - said Putin. And he noted that libraries need to be converted into multimedia centers, where children can be engaged with books, and with modern gadgets.

The Head of State noted that this should be done not only by the federal government, but also local.
