Information technology and libraries: The VI Interregional conference "Information technologies and multimedia resources: development vector" in Moscow

December 1, 2016 is held the VI Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference "Information and multimedia resources and technology: vector of development" in the N. A. Nekrasov Central Scientific Library (Moscow), which is dedicated to the theme "The exchange of experience of practical use of information and multimedia resources and technology".

The conference participants - representatives of public authorities, heads of regional libraries, heads and leading specialists of the department of information technology and electronic resources, representatives of companies - developers and providers of Internet technologies, experts in the field of publishing and the media, and other interested persons.

The purpose of the conference: to determine the role and place of the public library as social and cultural institutions in the field of representation of information resources and services of libraries in the modern media environment.

Conference objectives:

- The exchange of participants of practical experience in the use of information and multimedia resources and technologies;

- The localization of professional approaches to the effective delivery of library and information services.
