Internet and Culture: Live broadcast of performances "Golden Mask" will be held in the country's cinemas

The National theater festival "Golden Mask" and the art association CoolSonnections supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation present the program "Golden Mask in cinema".

This year, the audience of 60 cities of Russia will be able to see the four performances. Viewers of European Russia and the Urals region, thanks to the coincidence of time zones will be able to watch performances in direct satellite broadcast, at the same time with the audience in the hall of the capital's theaters. In the regions, which time is significantly at odds with Moscow, the performances will be shown in the record.

The program "Golden Mask in cinema" two new performances - "The Storm," directed by Andrew Moguchy in BDT (Live on April 2) and the Ballet of Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet "Romeo and Juliet", staged by Vyacheslav Samodurov (February 17). The organizers also note that two masterpieces will be shown at the festival which were the best in previous years: the play of Lev Dodin "Life and Fate" at the Maly Drama Theatre - Theatre of Europe (March 22) and "War and Peace. Beginning of the novel", set in the "Workshop of P. N. Fomenko" by Peter Fomenko himself (April 14).
