International events: Russia will host the Days of Culture of Tajikistan in 2017

January 27, 2017 in the Tajik capital Dushanbe was held the 14th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting was held on the eve of President of Russia Vladimir Putin's state visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, scheduled for February 2017.

20 questions were stated on the agenda, including cooperation in the cultural sphere. So, it was agreed to host in 2017 the Days of Culture of Russia in Tajikistan, and in 2018 the Days of Culture of Tajikistan in Russia.

Days of Culture of Russia will be held in the framework of the Russian chairmanship in the CIS and will be timed to the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Tajikistan.
